Class	Eligibility
Class 6th	No previous educational qualification is mandatory.
Class 9th	The candidate should have passed Class VIII from a govt/recognized school before the date of admission. Students studying in Class VIII are also eligible to appear in the entrance test for Class IX.

Age Limit for Rashtriya Military Schools Class 6th / 9th

Class IV

Only boys aged between 10-12 years as on 31 March 2021.
born between 01 April 2009 to 31 March 2011, both days inclusive.

Class IX

Only boys aged between 13-15 years as on 31 March 2021.
born between 01 April 2006 to 31 March 2008, both days inclusive.
